7 Days in Chicago

Seven Days in Chicago: The Complete City Itinerary

A full week lets you experience Chicago the way residents do, blending marquee sights with slower neighborhood days. The first five days cover downtown, the Museum Campus, the creative Northwest Side, Hyde Park, and the North Side lakefront. Days six and seven then reach the vibrant Mexican culture of Pilsen, the food and history of Chinatown, the West Loop's dining scene, and the Garfield Park Conservatory. You'll eat across the city's signature traditions, deep dish, Italian beef, tacos, and dumplings, and see its art, architecture, and green spaces. Each day stays geographically tight, so a week feels immersive rather than exhausting.
