5 Days in Chicago
Five Days in Chicago: Icons, Museums & Neighborhoods
Five days is enough to see Chicago's icons and still explore the neighborhoods locals love. The first three days mirror a strong long-weekend plan: downtown, the Museum Campus, and the creative Northwest Side. Days four and five then push south to Hyde Park's world-class Museum of Science and Industry and University of Chicago, and north to Wrigleyville and the lakefront. Along the way you'll sample deep dish, Italian beef, Mexican Pilsen, and celebrated neighborhood restaurants. Each day stays geographically focused to limit transit time, and the variety, museums, parks, architecture, sports, and food, captures the full breadth of the city.
